Mr. Stuart J. Udell has worked as a transformational leader in the education landscape for 25 years. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of K12, Inc. from 2016 to March 2018.
From 2010-2015, Mr. Udell served as the Chief Executive Officer of Catapult Learning. Prior, Stuart served as the Chief Executive Officer of Penn Foster until its acquisition by The Princeton Review, where he then also served as President of Postsecondary Education. Mr. Udell spent eleven years at Kaplan, most recently serving as President of Kaplan K12 Learning Services. Mr. Udell also served as President of the School Renaissance Institute, a subsidiary of Renaissance Learning, where he later joined the Board of Directors. He has been an active board member (and past Chairman) of the The National Dropout Prevention Center and recently joined the board of the Successful Practices Network. He was honored in 2015 for his significant contributions to the National Dropout Prevention Center, in 2011 by the I Have a Dream Foundation with the Education Warrior Award, and by induction to his own school district's Hall of Fame in 2012.
Mr. Udell has an MBA from Columbia University and a BS from Bucknell University.
